Solomon's Sword...

I will have to read this story in the Bible sometime. Some of this might need to be refined later.

A parable, of Solomon...

Once upon a time there was a king named Solomon. He had Wisdom.

One day a case came before him of two mothers. Both of them claimed to be the mother of the same child. This sometimes still happens when a mother takes a baby who is not her's. It is strange. So they came before Solomon. One of them was about to learn a little lesson about how it is not easy to trick a man of understanding. Solomon had in mind what he would do, immediately. He talked with them for a bit anyway and looked at the baby set between the two women.

Then suddenly, he got out his sword and swung it down towards the baby! One of the mothers cried out and threw herself forward over the baby. The other said, "How can you swing a sword towards a little baby! You might be able to fathom the mysteries of the world but if you have not love....then!" Solomon replied, "Then what?" She said, "I don't know. It just doesn't seem like looooove." Solomon said, "The true mother loves the sword of Truth because it just defined true Love. Now, depart from here before I cut off your head." She replied, "But I looove the child! You are just a Big Meanie..."

So then, Solomon cut off her head!

Now Solomon had this effete advisor around who was always saying, "But...but...but Solomon!" So this prissy person said, "But Solomon, you have blood on your hands." So Solomon walked over and wiped his hands off on the prissy person's robes. Then, he wiped his sword on them too. He replied, "Look, I have clean hands now." The true mother also walked over to the advisor and said, "You look like a mental retard."
