A good letter today....

Voters have spoken, so stop the whining
Doug Holveck, Newark
"[.....]You have lumped us into two groups, the right-wing Christian extremists/homophobics or the rich and powerful who do not care about anything but themselves.

Well I have another label for you and it is getting bigger by the day. The middle class families that put their faith in God, go to work every day, pay their taxes, raise their families with the morals and values we believe in, all without whining and complaining. This is America and you are entitled to your beliefs, but do not tell me or 59 million other Americans that we are ignorant or stupid just because we do not agree with you.
[......]"

Besides, Leftist atheistic kooks are the ones that are ignorant and stupid. But in watching the news shows some and the like, they're still at it with the same ol' tune. There is the fear-mongering with respect to "religion" and the like, a word for journalists that is mainly just a buzzword useful for fear-mongering or for Leftist politicians the term is generally a marketing gimmick to try to get elected. It is odd because the Leftist politician will use the term both ways, for fear-mongering as well as a gimmick. Their own religion seems to be, "Jesus was just a nice guy who wants you to give something to the poor. You know, by letting Caesar and his degenerate and corrupt senators give something to the poor for you. So give us your money, lest we call you greedy bastards!"

To the Leftist politician this is good, so good. It is just what Jesus would have.

But religion that says anything on "sexy" issues like marriage, stem cells, abortion, gays or creation is bad, so bad! All that has to do with sex and procreation of the creation of Life must be left to naturalism/secularism. But really, Christianity does focus on that quite a bit, in fact it seems to be quite a sexy sort of religion. And "sexist" too....perhaps it is best to have the notes and the tunes of the types and patterns played in stereo, like the tune of the Yin and the Yang.

Behind what most Leftists are saying are concerns about the patterns of "stereotype" and what seems to be little more than a rebellion against the Creator.

Yes, that is what it boils down to--rebellion against the Creator! (I thought that was a great letter to the editor as well!) Thanks for all the post and tons of "food for thought"! I feel like I am stuffed full of meat. Wow!

What happened to Jerry and Childish? Where are you guys? Does your brain hurt from all the exercise? :-)
