FBI is monitoring this site as well as other sites as we speak. They're looking for clues and tapping in the dark. Scary. Shutting down the internet would be like shutting down the chatterboxes. Only hope they do a better job than the last time around (9.11 and Anthrax), where they did a piss-poor job, as we all know.
Take the anthrax scare way back when... Unlike them, I knew instantly that it was a domestic job when they showed it on TV. Sent them an email that foreign guys would not have used US date format.
And it took them how long to trace the genetic source to the US AMRIID? Pffff.
And how long were their own Anti-Terrorist Agents warning them about Ata and co.? And, oh, wasn't that Special Agent sent to NY, only to perish in the Towers?
Pfff.
