In the intervening 20 years since the end of the USSR, the disparity between the Anglo-American financial empire's (conventional) military capabilities, and everyone else's, has hugely expanded.
Unless the nukes get used, I doubt Russia could even beat Israel in the Med... and that's without Israel's lackey-in-chief - us - joining in.

You must be a great student of Russian Naval History and capabilities.  As such you must know that they are still a capable bunch who can inflict great amount of casualties and loss on a potential enemy. After all you are not the one sitting on an American ship in harms way.

Be interesting to watch how our miltary holds up against one that can actually fight back, just hoping they don't run out of that $23 per gallon bio-fuel...
