Saving a few comments from the Huffington Post...
Truth
we can handle. When someone who is supposed to be a "man of God" and a
"leader of God's church" bears false witness, what are we to do?
Remain silent? Walk away and pray that his vile interpretation of
scriptures is just harmless?
You're clueless. If you supposedly love and care about people then it's on you to know what you're talking about.
So children can be recruited to your destructive cause and your denial of the complementarity of the sexes that gives birth to children in the first place.
They're also impacted in other ways, due to your clueless denial of the innate complementarity of the sexes:
....I refuse to watch a watered down version of Fred Phelps.
That's just a technique spread among clueless trendies by people that are more intelligent:
So you didn't actually even say anything about the truth of Graham's position, mainly because you are clueless.
I'm sorry, but this made my stomach turn!
I'm sorry, but the feelings that you've been conditioned to have about anything Gay © are meaningless. Activists said that they would condition you and create trends in the culture for you to feel that way. And now, here you are. That is all your feelings amount to.
If you actually care about people then you'll need to take the time to get beyond your feeling and focus on the truth of things so that your feelings can eventually align with reality.
A phobia is a fear or anxiety disorder. The term "homophobia" has been coined by the LGBT community to make those who do not approve or condone of their lifestyle seem like the ones who are maladjusted. Media that uses the term "homophobia" is pushing their own agenda of pro homosexual acceptance or normalcy. Disapproval of the LGBT lifestyle does not indicate fear only sadness for those involved in the behavior.
A likely explanation:
Regardless, it's clear that most people that disagree with demands to approve of same sex marriage are generally not as phobic and neurotic as people that choose to take a gay identity based on their desires or gender identity disorders.
An identity that was invented by Western psychologists which is now being marketed to children in order to recruit them into the same type of thinking with respect to defining people by their feelings and desires, regardless of what's true in general:
Hmmmm. "Biology says it's impossible", did he really say that???
He really said that. Mainly because it's true:
Media like the Huff Post is probably going to help more and more perverts eventually, if their current marketing campaign is any measure:
Notice how they don't condemn NAMBLA, they just say that they shouldn't be part of the marketing campaign that trendies like the Huff Post are running now.
Part of the reason:
Finally crossing over to a position of strength: "It's something good. Gay is good, so we should lead and mentor more children to be gay." would be different than all the victimization propaganda currently being used in the marketing campaign.
I am so disappointed in this man. I don't think his dad was so unloving. just sad.
This is unloving:
Not telling your partner that you have HIV or becoming a "bug chaser" is unloving. You are unloving.
Gays recruiting others to be gay is just about the most ignorant thing I've ever heard coming from the mouth of a supposedly educated man.
You're utterly clueless. Homosexuality has been widely practiced by some cultures and prescribed by others. The implications are obvious to any educated person.
Peer reviewed journal:
For example:
Have you ever talked with parents that are concerned their teenage son might be being groomed for a similar relationship and so forth? Probably not, given how clueless you are.
If you're actually full of feelings of love for people then you'll need to take some time to make sure that you know what you're talking about and that your caring actually aligns with reality.
You're not necessarily protecting poor gay people and the perfect Victims from a supposed Big Bully like Graham. Do you really care about people, as people... and not just "gay people"?
"Are sex and gender immutable?"
No, your ridiculous idea that sex is a mutable characteristic but that sexual desires are an immutable characteristic is generally based on a marketing campaign developed by gay activists and aimed at stupid people.
The gay marketing campaign that Huff Post is running 24/7 doesn't have to make sense or be based on reality in any way because it has been designed for ignorant trendies that basically salivate like Pavlov's dogs over anything they perceive as "gay" at this point. The weakness of it is that it's ultimately based on the petrodollar and a culture of entertainment.
Now they're trying to mix Graham in with them. Doesn't that just churn your stomach or make you have a little feeling about things?
Meanwhile, people are dying in the background due to homosexual behavior patterns and the recruitment of children into your ridiculous and destructive agenda that doesn't even make any sense on its own terms. For example, the idea that you can change or transcend sex itself but NEVER change any of the sexual desires that are directed toward... sex.
You're clueless. If you supposedly love and care about people then it's on you to know what you're talking about.
Broude (Broude, G. 1981. The Cultural Management of Sexuality. Ref. 279. :633-73) concludes that child training can have a profound effect on adult sexual orientation.

So children can be recruited to your destructive cause and your denial of the complementarity of the sexes that gives birth to children in the first place.
They're also impacted in other ways, due to your clueless denial of the innate complementarity of the sexes:
[A] specter…. haunts some children of homosexuals: AIDS. For Stefan Lynch, 24, watching his father die five years ago was particularly lonely. The father talked about it little, already feeling guilty about “abandoning me when I was a teenager,” recalls Lynch.
….In some families, AIDS strikes more than once. Breauna Dixon, 7, wrote a picture book about her father’s death that is used in AIDS support groups. Breauna now lives with her father’s partner–who became her guardian–and the man’s new live-in partner (her third “dad”), who has HIV.”

That's just a technique spread among clueless trendies by people that are more intelligent:
[Activists] can undermine the moral authority of homohating churches over less fervent adherents by portraying such institutions as antiquated backwaters..." (Kirk and Madsen :129)
But note: Our effect is achieved without reference to facts, logic, or proof…through repeated infralogical emotional conditioning, the person’s beliefs can be altered whether he is conscious of the attack or not. Indeed, the more he is distracted by even specious, surface arguments, the less conscious he will be of the true nature of the process. In short, jamming succeeds insofar as it inserts even the slightest frisson of doubt and shame into the previously held unalloyed beliefs regarding heterosexuality and homosexuality.
(Gay activists Kirk and Madsen, “After The Ball” :152-153)
So you didn't actually even say anything about the truth of Graham's position, mainly because you are clueless.

A likely explanation:
The successful use of certain words, like homophobia, to advance the gay activist propaganda machine, is a triumph that many ad men would envy. But I think gay activists do this quite unwittingly.
…..
The dynamics are clear. Once they realized, as little boys, that they were different, and that they could expect a certain amount of razzing, if not persecution, for being different, they learned to fear, even hate, their tormentors. Then, such is our human propensity to think good of ourselves, they rejected the notion that they could hate anyone. “We don’t hate the straight guys,” they said. And they turned it around, and settled on the notion that the straight guys hated them. They projected their hatred on to the heteroworld, and blamed the hetero world for hating them.

In the West, for instance, it may be common to expect that a homosexual preference is life-long, exclusive, and may even be genetic. McIntosh (McIntosh, M. 1968. The Homosexual Role. Soc. Probl. 16(2):182-92) has argued, however, that this kind of homosexuality is a relatively new Western cultural phenomenon, and Weatherford (Weatherford, J.M. 1986. Porn Row. New York: Arbor House) questions the extent to which exclusive homosexual preferences are even characteristic of present day U.S. culture. The cross-cultural evidence suggests that life-long or exclusive homosexuality is a rare phenomenon. Bisexuality and situational or ad hoc homosexual behavior are more common.

Hmmmm. "Biology says it's impossible", did he really say that???
He really said that. Mainly because it's true:
The attributes of mothering and fathering are inherent parts of sex differentiation that paves the way to reproduction. This is where the sociology analogy so often drawn between race and sex breaks down in the most fundamental sense. Genetic assimilation is possible through interracial mating, and we can envisage a society that is color blind. But genetic assimilation of male and female is impossible, and no society will be sex-blind.Disgusting. Maybe if the media stopped helping such *perverted* Christians to fulfill their agenda, the world would be a much better place!

Gender and Parenthood
By Alice S. Rossi :10)
Media like the Huff Post is probably going to help more and more perverts eventually, if their current marketing campaign is any measure:
Straights generally have fewer and cloudier preconceptions about lesbians and may feel less hostile toward them. And as women (generally seen as less threatening and more vulnerable than men), lesbians may be more credible objects of sympathy.
It cannot go without saying, incidentally, that groups on the farthest margins of acceptability, such as NAMBLA, must play no part at all in such a campaign. Suspected child molesters will never look like victims. Now, two different messages about the Gay Victim are worth communicating. First, the public should be persuaded that gays are victims of circumstance, that they no more chose their sexual orientation than they did, say, their height, skin color, talents, or limitations. (After the Ball: How America will conquer its fear & hatred of Gays in the 90's by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen :183)
Notice how they don't condemn NAMBLA, they just say that they shouldn't be part of the marketing campaign that trendies like the Huff Post are running now.
Part of the reason:
Another subtopic of interest to anthropologists is the homosexual mentorship (Herdt, G.H. 1981. Guardians of the Flutes. New York: Mcgraw-Hill)(Herdt, G.H. ed. 1982 Rituals of Manhood. Berekeley: Univ. Calif. Press) (Herdt, G.H. 1984. Ritualized Homosexual Behavior in the Male Cults Of Melanesia. 1862-1983: Ref 178. :1-82) Mentorships are a much more common form of homosexual behavior than previously considered. These relationships usually form between a preadolescent and either an older adolescent or an adult. Adams (Adams, B.D. 1985. Age, Structure, and Sexuality. Journal of Homosexuality. 11:19-33) has summarized the ethnographic data for male mentorships.Kirk and Madsen never wrote that their marketing campaign would never or could never be applied to more overt forms of recruitment and the promotion of homosexuality to children. One of the ironies of the campaign is that one aspect of it ("Born this way!!!") leads to the fact that none of the clueless trendies commenting here can say: "Yes, being gay can be promoted to children... and it should be, because it's something good!" They're still back on basically assuming that it's something bad and trying to manipulate emotions that way. "Why would anyone choose to be this way? It's terrible!" or "You're secretly just like me! Which is terrible!" Etc.
[....]
Ethically this is a particularly touchy issue. There is an enormous prejudice against similar kinds of patnerships in the United States (indeed they are typically illegal), and the older partner is usually defined as mentally ill or as a sexual criminal.

The appearance of an argument can often aid an emotional appeal for other reasons. [...] Where the target of an emotional appeal is aware of the attempt at manipulation, he will tend to resist it; where he is distracted from the true nature of the appeal by a 'cover argument,' the emotional effect, paradoxically, will be all the greater. Thus, an argument can function as a distractor.
Our remarks apply primarily to the (intellectually) lower 90% or so of the general population, whose beliefs more or less never alter their emotions. ... The highly intelligent sometimes display the capacity, although less often the inclination, to step outside themselves and analyze their feelings, and the causes of their feelings, dispassionately, and this sometimes modulates the feelings themselves.

Westboro Baptist, 24/7: [Activists] can undermine the moral authority of homohating churches over less fervent adherents by portraying such institutions as antiquated backwaters, badly out of step with the times and the latest findings of psychology. Against the atavistic tug of Old Time Religion one must set the mightier pull of Science and Public Opinion... Such an 'unholy' alliance has already worked well in America against churches, on such topics as divorce and abortion.
