Fortunately the gospel isn't about high levels of intelligence or complexity structured by the if/then forms of logic that all notions of law and order rest on. Ironically, the intelligent and wealthy actually have a harder time understanding their need for salvation because they are more capable of ordering their lives and providing for themselves or inventing stories in which it isn't so.
