Just as he was deceived by 911, his empire builders and leaders were also deceived by the anthrax attacks and the threats against the pet goat's plane on 911 and "terrorism" in general. Why was Bush threatened on 911 and kept wandering aimlessly around the nation? Where was Cheney? Etc. W... not guilty by reason of stupidity.
911 was used to sell hopium to the "no blood for OIL" left, as the Soros funded fronts protested the war but not the actual reason for it. Operation Iraqi Liberation. OIL. Right. Try, Israel Lobby and Likud. Duh. The Left, real dumb. But it was more freedumb isn't free for the right, patriots signing up after 911 and the Patriot Act.

His whole bit about, "if I got hurt in Afghanistan, it would have been okay", just goes to show how deluded he remains, even after all was taken from him. At the end of the day, if nobody picks up a gun to do the will of the government, there are no foreign wars, there are no foreign occupations. Everyone who picks up a gun to do the will of the government, whether domestically or abroad, bears responsibility. Without people to willing to pick up guns at the behest of others, the Dick Cheney's of the world are irrelevent.
No real reason to pick him apart.
It could be said of any soldier. Why don't they just buy a sniper rifle and at least try to do what is needed after they know the truth? I was reading a suicide letter where one of the contemplated a final mission but he concluded that the press would turn it into yet more freedumb and frame him as yet another (homegrown) terrorist in the "war on terror" and so on. Etc.
Maybe that's why. Humanity.
