With citizens like this, what about their national security?
Serious minded people might take note of what's occurring now and focus on the fact that if or when something goes wrong in the national security state (Like what you're concerned about here.) then the people working there should all be fired. Their budgets should be cut, not expanded. New agencies should be formed to compete with them (Fortunately that already happens some.) and they shouldn't be rewarded with yet more funding. They shouldn't be fused together more tightly in "Fusion Centers," they should be separated and put in competition with other factions of careerists.
They shouldn't be the "experts" on TV from the "think tanks," telling you about the terrism that they just failed to stop.
They should be fired for failure, not rewarded with bigger budgets for more movies like Argo II: Episode Bungled. (I.e. people like Seth Rogen might have to go too.)
In other words, it's basically the opposite of everything most people are doing and supporting when it comes to "national security." It is quite surprising that we haven't nuked ourselves (not for lack of bungling, apparently) or allowed some "ally in the region" and their mercenaries to do the job that even the most degenerate and traitorous of Americans will not do. Because as history shows (real history), peasants often need a little motivation to rally around their (false) flags.
Consider history (real history) in this context of emerging "conflict" now where your "allies in the region" are the "FSA," the Saudis* and the Israelis... while the Russians get the Persians/Iranians and the Syrians.
I wonder if John McCain is wetting his depends over this latest news about Russia apparently identifying Israeli involvement. Because that usually drives people like John McCain crazy.

The Interview is a 2014 American political satire comedy film directed by Seth Rogen [who?] and Evan Goldberg[who?]. It is their second directorial work, following This Is the End (2013). The screenplay is by Dan Sterling, based upon a story he co-authored with Rogen and Goldberg. With citizens like this, what about their national security?
Serious minded people might take note of what's occurring now and focus on the fact that if or when something goes wrong in the national security state (Like what you're concerned about here.) then the people working there should all be fired. Their budgets should be cut, not expanded. New agencies should be formed to compete with them (Fortunately that already happens some.) and they shouldn't be rewarded with yet more funding. They shouldn't be fused together more tightly in "Fusion Centers," they should be separated and put in competition with other factions of careerists.
They shouldn't be the "experts" on TV from the "think tanks," telling you about the terrism that they just failed to stop.
They should be fired for failure, not rewarded with bigger budgets for more movies like Argo II: Episode Bungled. (I.e. people like Seth Rogen might have to go too.)
In other words, it's basically the opposite of everything most people are doing and supporting when it comes to "national security." It is quite surprising that we haven't nuked ourselves (not for lack of bungling, apparently) or allowed some "ally in the region" and their mercenaries to do the job that even the most degenerate and traitorous of Americans will not do. Because as history shows (real history), peasants often need a little motivation to rally around their (false) flags.
Consider history (real history) in this context of emerging "conflict" now where your "allies in the region" are the "FSA," the Saudis* and the Israelis... while the Russians get the Persians/Iranians and the Syrians.
I wonder if John McCain is wetting his depends over this latest news about Russia apparently identifying Israeli involvement. Because that usually drives people like John McCain crazy.

A recently released classified document obtained by WikiLeaks establishes that active US planning for regime-change predated the outbreak of the Syrian civil war by at least five years. The secret report from the head of the US Embassy in Damascus outlined “vulnerabilities” of the Syrian government that Washington could exploit. At the top of the list were fomenting “Sunni fears of Iranian influence” to cause sectarian conflict and taking advantage of “the presence of transiting Islamist extremists.”
Given that the document was written in 2006, at the height of Iraq’s sectarian carnage caused by the US invasion and Washington’s divide-and-rule tactics, these proposals were made with full awareness that they would provoke a bloodbath. Nearly a decade later, the bitter fruits of this policy include the deaths of some 300,000 Syrians, with another 4 million driven from the country and 7 million more internally displaced.
While cynically exploiting the suffering of the Syrian people to justify an escalation of US militarism, Washington is not about to let Russia derail its drive to impose its hegemony over the oil-rich Middle East and the entire planet.
