Zerohedge zealots for today...

Bernanke is managing a fraud: fiat money, the US Dollar.
A criminal, although a legal criminal, can not make the "right decision".
The Federal Reserve was created to protect the banks and monetize the US' deficit spending, which is also FRAUD.
For the sake of America what is needed is to obey the US Constitution, which prohibits fiat money, a FRAUD.

When the dust settles, I hope all these fucking banksters get Andrew Jacksoned back to the snake pit from which they came.
Our money is rotten = our morality is rotten.

I'm a lifelong coin collector and have studied the history of our coinage.  One is struck by the enormous efforts lawmakers took to assure that intrinsic matched stated value (a silver dollar contained a dollar's worth of silver). Thus, the frequent size changes, barsm stars, deletions, the huge fight over nickle ("that baseless substance"), the promise to destroy paper money "quickly", the fights over silver-gold ratios.
Of course, this was one of the few tasks designated by the Constitution specifically for Congress and as such, they took it seriously.  We've always had paper transactions but they were backed up by PMs.  Zerohedge

Something about investing a lot in the apocalypse/revelation of the true value of paper ponzi without "full faith and credit" in it doesn't seem right.

Ted....

1) consent, which Sindy brought up, is one key component, a dog, an animal, a child cannot give its consent so why would that ever even be considered except in some loney world that I don't think any of us would recognise...and what it the benefit to society for any of those unions?...none whatsoever...

Ted, I don't know if you've noticed this but we don't really care about the consent of animals.  We lead them around on leashes.  We eat them.  We have them do circus acts for us and so on and so forth.  It's to your credit that your mind is looking for some way to justify your innate sense of "right"eousness or right and wrong, clean and unclean... but there's nothing in what you're writing that really makes sense yet.

The definition of a child and sex itself has always been up for debate too, I'm reminded of some Talmudic Jews debating this in ways that we would consider utterly perverse.  As a civilization declines, there is usually a blurring of the lines with respect to basic natural categories like child and adult*, male and female, human and animal and so forth.

*E.g. Another subtopic of interest to anthropologists is the homosexual mentorship (Herdt, G.H. 1981. Guardians of the Flutes. New York: Mcgraw-Hill)(Herdt, G.H. ed. 1982 Rituals of Manhood. Berekeley: Univ. Calif. Press) (Herdt, G.H. 1984. Ritualized Homosexual Behavior in the Male Cults Of Melanesia. 1862-1983: Ref 178. :1-82) Mentorships are a much more common form of homosexual behavior than previously considered. These relationships usually form between a preadolescent and either an older adolescent or an adult. Adams (Adams, B.D. 1985. Age, Structure, and Sexuality. Journal of Homosexuality. 11:19-33) has summarized the ethnographic data for male mentorships.
[....]
Ethically this is a particularly touchy issue. There is an enormous prejudice against similar kinds of partnerships in the United States (indeed they are typically illegal), and the older partner is usually defined as mentally ill or as a sexual criminal.

Vol. 16, 1987, The Cross-Cultural
Study of Human Sexuality by D. L. Davis, R. G. Whitten :69-98)

2) propensity for abuse, there are many unions such as polygamy, close familial, group marriage which facts have proven over and over again have a propensity for abuse and as such our government does not sanction it

If that's the standard and you're interested in the general welfare, note:

Gays and lesbians are more likely to be victims of domestic violence than anti-gay violence, according to a survey made public yesterday by the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs.
(The Gazette (Montreal) October 23, 1996, Wednesday,
Final Edition. News; Pg. F10 Gay domestic violence; Study
documents abuse in homosexual relationships.
Byline: Vicki Haddock)

Battering is also a problem among gay couples: the National Coalition on Domestic Violence estimates that almost one in three same-sex relationships are abusive, seemingly more than among heterosexual couples.
(Newsweek October 4, 1993 , U.S. Edition.
Special Report; Pg. 26 Patterns of Abuse.
Byline: By Michele Ingrassia et al.)

Most recent violent crimes involving gays and lesbians were committed by other homosexuals..... said Michelle Lamoureux... 'We realized that there is a lot of conjugal violence and violence within the gay community.'
(The Gazette (Montreal)
April 4, 1996, Thursday.
News; In Brief; Pg. A3
Pilot project tracking violence against gays)

...now of course maybe a polygamous family would claim they have no abuse and all are equal but truth in facts show there is a propensity to abuse in this type of relationship (and sadly mainly directed at women)

They could reply that is due to the pressure that society puts on them by keeping them in the closet, etc.  It would be a clever technique of blaming you for problems that arise based on their own behavior patterns and psychological dynamics produced by them.  Yet that wouldn't be without precedent.  On a side note, if people want to wander off into their own compounds and be polygamists as they sometimes do I don't believe that the State (generally just collective violence and coercion at the point of a gun) should take an interest in trying to police their relationships.  But I guess if they passed DOMA then they might be able to pass another law to raid the compounds with guns drawn or have a SWAT team raid to "save" the kids (If the government doesn't wind up burning them to death first, e.g. Waco.)

and of course the flip side is that there are homosexual and heterosexual couple marriages that are abusive but again the majority are loving and supportive (at least one hopes)

Unfortunately it's more likely that you're looking at the usual decline of civilization, in which less and less people have marriages straight out of the 1950s and bad things begin to happen as more deny the singular nature of the type of marriage that gave birth to them and their civilization in the first place.  Not to mention the wake of destruction that will be left for children, given that they need stability and a "more perfect union" of that which produced them in the first place maintained too.

Stability and their father and mother in so far as that is possible, as contrasted with other possibilities like this:
[A] specter…. haunts some children of homosexuals: AIDS. For Stefan Lynch, 24, watching his father die five years ago was particularly lonely. The father talked about it little, already feeling guilty about “abandoning me when I was a teenager,” recalls Lynch.
….In some families, AIDS strikes more than once. Breauna Dixon, 7, wrote a picture book about her father’s death that is used in AIDS support groups. Breauna now lives with her father’s partner–who became her guardian–and the man’s new live-in partner (her third “dad”), who has HIV.

Still writing too much...

Interesting, local political blog: no apology necessary.

Can't get away from it. I'm of a mind that people should be debating the actions of banksters a lot more. (As Sindy might note, that's something which will impact everyone. You might want to look into what the Constitution has to say about money, as long as you have it out.) It is interesting how the trends among lemmings always seem to align for an economic collapse as the birds of prey circle overhead, etc.

It's almost as if trends are being produced by the mass media sometimes.

E.g.
I begin here by briefly documenting the wider output of filmic representations of homosexuality in the period...
No other films depicted homosexuality as unequivocally, centrally, or positively as these. Michael (1924), the story of the tragic love of a painter for his model/protégé, was a remake of the Swedish film Vingarne (The Wings, 1916); Der Fall des Generalstabs-Oberst Redl (1931) dealt directly with the Redl scandal. [a scandal involving blackmail and homosexuality] At least one of the several films dealing with Frederick the Great (Fridericus-Rex-Zyklus, 1922) pointed to his homosexuality, although all those dealing with Ludwig II of Bavaria managed to keep quiet about his. Though not the main characters, a lesbian and a gay man are central to the plots of, respectively, Die Büchse der Pandora (Pandora’s Box, 1928) and Geschlecht in Fesseln (Sex in Shackles, 1928), the latter worth noting — despite the fact that it ends unhappily for all concerned — for the tender physicality shown in the love between two men in prison. Gays are part of the ambiance of decadence in two of the Mabuse films (Dr. Mabuse der Spieler, 1921/2, and Das Testament des Dr. Mabuse, 1933) and in films, of which there were apparently many, like Nachte der Weltstadt (Nights in the Metropolis, 192?), where lesbians dancing together were shown as characteristic of urban night life.
(Less and More than Women and Men: Lesbian and Gay Cinema in Weimar Germany by Richard Dyer
New German Critique, No. 51, Special Issue on Weimar Mass Culture (Autumn, 1990) :6)

Yet... there wasn't a rainbow of love and tolerance just over the horizon due to the arc of history and Progress? "This time it will be different." As Zerohedge zealots only interested in building civilization and wealth for themselves might note, those are famous last words.

Note a recent headline from Greece due to the work of banksters: (Greece's Fascist Homophobes Have God and Police on Their Side by Laurie Penny)

Yet Lloyd Blanfein is in America marketing his support for same sex marriage instead of over there dealing with a real civil rights struggle created by Goldman Sachs and corrupt politicians.  Meanwhile, Americans seem intent on debating the nature of flowers and the theatrical production of being gay and happy.... in front of an oncoming freight train.  Sindy said that she's glad that the mass media and large corporations in America are basically on her side. Problem, trends change and they could care less about you and your family...  much less than a local church like Glasgow cares about you.  Seriously.

Large corporations want more "record corporate profits" like they've had under Obama Inc. for now. And that's the extent of it.

Note, where did all those movie makers and producers of the mass media in the Weimar Republic go when their paper ponzi was stripped away by banksters?  Again, I wouldn't put too much stock in mass trends and the people capable of trampling each other to death at Walmart Inc., etc.  Their tolerance and "love" and their capacity to be slow toward "righteous" wrath and anger probably has about the same spiritual depth as the other products they're currently buying.

Looks interesting...

Waco Texas Fertilizer Company Hit By Drone/Laser Strike After Lawsuit Filed Against Monsanto!

Not sure about it.  But I doubt that an "ongoing investigation" by the FBI will help even if the conspiracy theorists are right.

The reason I even keep up with "conspiracy theorists" these days:  911.

I'll debate that one with anyone.

Writing too much again....

Although, it doesn't really matter if this time a denial of basic biosocial realities is finally "real" or lasting as far as the mirage and the utopia of tolerance that's just over the horizon and over the rainbow where the banksters probably have a pot of gold stored for everyone too. Because if the whole nation goes into some type of arrested development and denial of basic aspects of reality (and emotions and feelings generally become the be all and end all of everything) that's usually a marker for the decline of civilization and "civil rights" anyway. Notice how you're supposedly getting more "gay rights" based on feelings just as the police state is bearing its fangs right up the street and begins violating everyone's civil rights in reality, equally. Shrug. This isn't rocket science. Like some of the Founders who didn't even necessarily agree with Christianity themselves sometimes said, it should still be promoted as a public myth or "publick religion" to lemmings... for the sake of maintaining American civilization, as Franklin put it. That was the arrogance of some of them, it's not my view. I'm still back with the lowly Jewish peasant Jesus and his claims about everything. But it is kind of ironic that modern progressives are trying to essentially extirpate "religion" from public life these days in the name of the Founders when Masonic Founders and builders* like Franklin basically took the opposite view and viewed "Christianity" as a good tool for them to use to be more successful "...than the Builders of Babel." *(Who reject the symbolic nature of the capstone that becomes their stumbling stone.)
